It is with great pleasure that I extend my message to the official website of Old Girls Association of Sirimavo Bandaranaike Vidyalaya , Colombo 7.
Your motto “උගනිමු, හැදෙමු, සැනසෙමු” reflects Sirimavo mission and vision. Accordingly we need to maintain an environment to produce well balanced and outstanding personalities , who respect others and live peacefully. Peace makes happiness; happiness in human beings gives them strength and support them to expose their hidden potentials towards betterment of the world.
Myself and my staff believe the bridge that connects all of us should evoke nostalgia, acknowledge shared history , and encourage active participation in supporting the school. Key themes include reconnecting , mentorship and contributing to the school development.

Message from the Deputy President
It is my honor to welcome you to the official website of Old Girls Association of Sirimavo Bandaranaike Vidyalaya.
For over years,our Alma mater has shaped thousands of lives instilling discipline, knowledge and values that carry us far beyond the school gates.
Our OGA exists to keep that bond alive. We are a network of lawyers, doctors, engineers , bankers, artists,entrepreneurs and teachers, all united by the same school song and same sense of gratitude.
Today our role is to give back, guide the next generation and preserve the proud traditions that made us who we are.
To strengthen our school community, the OGA has set Alumni mentorship programs, infrastructure support, educational development programs,scholarship fund, functioning the book shop, supporting hostelers in academics and continuing hostel meals program.
We invite every past pupil to volunteer your time or contribute your ideas. Our school gave us start. Together, let’s ensure it gives the same to generations to come.
