Dear Past Pupils of Sirimavo,
As the Deputy President of our esteemed Old Girls’ Association, I am honored to have the opportunity to address you through our website. Our association is a thriving community of individuals who share a common bond, a shared history, and a commitment to the betterment of our alma mater.
The association provides a platform for us to reconnect with our school and with one another, to reminisce about the good old days, and to celebrate the successes and achievements of our fellow past pupils. It also serves as a means of giving back to our school and to the community, by supporting various initiatives and projects that benefit current and future students.
As past pupils, we are the custodians of the legacy of our school. We have a responsibility to preserve and promote its values, traditions, and achievements. By staying connected with our alma mater, we can inspire and mentor the next generation of students, and help to create a brighter future for our school and our community.
I encourage all of you to be active members of our Association, to participate in our events and activities, and to contribute your time, resources, and expertise towards the betterment of our school. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of our fellow past and present students of our school, and our community.
Thank you for your continued support, and I look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events.
Sincerely
Nirmala Kaluarachchi – Deputy President OGA (2022/2023)
