The fashion show presented work pieces of Sirimavo Bandaranaike Vidyalaya’s very own top notch designers whose brands have been able to secure a renowned position in the fashion industry both locally and internationally. The brand ‘Rebel’ by Karunaratne Ruchira showcased its clothing line which is inspired by architecture and romanticism along with well known brands such as ‘Anchel’ by Utara Amadoo Mahagamarachchi , the fashion power in Batiks “Sanathana Batiks’ by Kanchana Fernando who is also collaborating with LICC for up cycle of denims, Sithumini Premathunga’s ‘Nils’ which caters to the modern needs of women, ‘Mararo’ a brand full of youthful energy by Roshi Thamara and the upcoming handloom mogul ‘Nithya’ by Nithya Lamahewa.
Amidst the runway walks, ‘Eleganz 2018’ chose the most elegant lady among the attendees who got the perfect looks and attire bringing out the latest trends as the ‘Eleganz Queen’ of the evening. The event was made a success with the aid of its sponsors ANC, Commercial Credit, People’s Bank, Flora, Derena TV and FM and many more. A number of brilliant dance and musical performances were also presented on stage which enlivened the coffee evening and the fashion show.
