To mark the 50th anniversary of the school it was decided to plant 5 trees in the school premises. Presently Mara trees give students the shade and increase the beauty of the school premises. But in the long run president principal Madam R.A.M.R Herath identified the necessity to have a second layer to replace those shady trees.
Therefore on 2023/01/20 three plants were planted by past principals, madam Wimala Liyanage, madam R.M.L. Jayasekara and madam Nanda de Silva. Present principal Madam R.A.M.R Herath and Deputy Principal - G.J.L Seneviratne planted two trees on 21st February 2023.
Hope those trees will give the students a pleasant environment with flowers in school colors.
